To Hell & Back!

I am questing in Outland and just finished the Hellfire Peninsula quests.  I am on my way to Zangarmarsh, so I will post some more pet images in a day or two.

A Cunning Fellow!

Just to be clear, I hate most creatures of the insect variety.  However as a beast mastery hunter it is a good idea to have a mixture of cunning, ferocity, and tenacity pets.  So after a little research and plenty of cringe worthy moments I decided to settle on Chatter a red tarantula.

Chatter is located in the Redridge Mountains up the hill past the Lakeridge  cemetery.  This pet spawns between the road and the Gnolls, but before you hit the intersecting turnoff  to Alther's Mill.

The One that Caught my Eye!

Foxes are one of my favorite animals, so I knew I had to get one when I saw another player strolling by with a blue one in Goldshire.  I found the location of Ashtail while researching rare wow pets online at a site called Petopia.  I usually frequent this site and Wowhead for in-depth  information on WOW pets.

Ashtail can be found wondering in Loch Modan, in  the same location as the bears and in close proximity to the Farstrider Lodge.

First Catch!

I first saw Vultros  while collecting ingredients for the Westfall Stew quest.  This blue and grey beauty was flying between the hayfield and a patch of trees over by the Saldean Farm as seen in the below image.

Unfortunately, when I finally decided to tame this beast a corpse was all that awaited me.  I had to wait about 15-30 minutes for Vultros  to re-spawn in the same spot.

As any Beast Mastery hunter will tell you, a pet can mean the difference between life or death in a sticky situation.  So, as a good newbie hunter  I waited until level 18 before starting my collection.
(Hunters have a starter pet from the get go, but can start taming other pets at level 10).

Here is a pic of my starter wolf - Kero
